How does BIT work?

BIT improves the functioning of the brain. It combines kinesiology, applied physiology, neuroscience, and the acupressure meridian system to address symptoms and issues that make learning – and often life itself- very difficult. BIT uses an 80 point protocol addressing 20 different areas of the brain, identifying and relieving stress and dysfunction to improve the way clients think, behave, and feel. For those wanting more detail, I  recommend this video, “Charles T. Krebs About His Work”

How many hours does it take?

How many sessions will I need?

How often do I come?

BIT takes roughly between 8 –15 hours to complete.  Clients come for sessions ranging from 1 to 3 hours (sometimes more) and may have multiple sessions in one day or week.  Small children are recommended a shorter, ½ hour visit unless you know your child would be comfortable laying on the table longer. During the first visit, you will be assessed to determine a rough number of hours the protocol will take. Once you complete the BIT protocol, it is recommended that you come back for an initial check-up after 4-6 weeks.  Additional checkups will be recommended by your practitioner. Most people come once a week until desired effect is achieved.

Do I have to do the full integration at once?

Clients may choose to stretch out the treatment period for any reason.  It is recommended that a client finish the main protocol within 3 months of starting, but this is a general guideline.

Do I tip you?

No, it’s fee for service.

Do you take insurance?

No, but I do accept FSA and HSA as forms of payment.

Do you use needles or electrodes?

No. BIT is completely non-invasive. Most people describe the process as relaxing and engaging.

Can Brain Integration technique do any harm or change my personality or brain?

No, it is not possible for me to harm anyone or change a personality. BIT can only take stress out of the synaptic “wires” of the brain.  A BIT Practitioner cannot change your personality, or make you a different person.  A BIT practitioner cannot harm the brain because we are not using chemicals, computers, or physical adjustments of any kind.

BIT restores normal brain function. It can only help.

How is Crossinology Brain Integration Technique (BIT) different than others?

BIT offers lasting change to certain issues due to its comprehensive 80 point protocol that addresses 20 areas of the brain. BIT doesn’t require the client to do homework or exercises once they leave. BIT works to correct faulty brain wiring that is long lasting.

Will I see results immediately?

In most cases, the answer is “yes!” People who have had concentration or memory issues, for example, or hair-trigger anger, usually see major changes immediately. And it is also true that more subtle changes will often continue to be noticed for 3-6 months after Brain Integration.

Many clients report changes after the first session.  However, you may not see changes until the entire protocol is finished and the brain has the time to integrate the changes. The general guideline for the integration period is 30 days.

What kind of changes will I see?

Most clients report better sleep, a more relaxed state of being, decreased stress, anxiety and worry, more success in school and work (sometimes can be quite drastic), a clearer mind, tasks that once were hard are easier or very easy, ability to excel in areas that were previously hard, improved digestion and health, etc.!  The list goes on and on.

I heard an ADD/ADHD brain is more creative. If I have this treatment, will it affect my creativity?

No.  An ADD brain often seems more creative because an individual with ADD has more access to the creative hemisphere of the brain than to the logic hemisphere.  In this case, people with ADD/ADHD become more focused and effective because BIT opens up access to the logic hemisphere.

I have seen that BIT is permanent - is that true?

BIT is long lasting, however there are certain things that can “knock it out”. A few examples are: extreme exposure to pathogens (heavy metals, fungus, bacteria, viruses), you have a poor diet, you experience intense levels of stress or a traumatic event, detoxing can knock parts of BIT out, pregnancy can temporarily knock certain parts of BIT out, you abuse mind altering substances, you have an eating disorder, you get a new concussion.

What if I’m not sure my child or I has a learning problem?

Children and adults with learning difficulties often display the following characteristics:

Poor memory

Short attention span, distractibility

Impulsiveness, restlessness or impatience

Inability to self-motivate or self-manage

Poor reading fluency and/or comprehension

Poor spelling

Poor handwriting

Issues with speech

Letter or number reversal

Difficulty memorizing times tables

Difficulty understanding math concepts or complex problems

Difficulty following and/or giving directions

Over- or under-sensitive to noise, light or touch

Poor auditory processing – asking the same question again and again and again

Behavioral issues related to learning difficulties – anxiety, frustration or avoidance behavior

Poor physical coordination and/or balance

Is BIT right for me?

Although everyone may benefit from brain integration, you may see especially dramatic results if you have difficulty with five or more of the following:

Letter or number reversal

Eye strain

Test anxiety

Short attention span/difficulty concentrating

Lack of self-confidence

Difficulty healing from injuries or repeat injuries

Poor reading ability and comprehension

Inability to finish projects

Poor organizational skills

Spelling problems

Difficulty following or giving directions

Checkups?

The first checkup is generally between 4-6 weeks after finishing the protocol. Your practitioner will recommend future checkups as needed.
