What is Crossinology®
Brain Integration Technique (BIT)?

Crossinology® Brain Integration Technique (BIT) is a cutting-edge/drug-free technique, based in kinesiology that improves the functioning of the brain. BIT combines kinesiology, physiology, neuroscience, and the acupressure meridian system to address symptoms and issues that make learning, and often life itself very hard.  BIT uses a complete protocol addressing 20 different areas, identifying and relieving stress in the brain to improve the way you think, behave, feel, and the way your body moves. This is for children as well as adults.

Conditions BIT may help:

Learning difficulties (dyslexia, ADD/ADHD)

Memory, brain fog, and focus issues

Emotional overwhelm or trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression

Left-right brain integration

Post-concussion symptoms or neurological fog

Reading comprehension

Emotional regulation

Allergies

and much more!

Seek the path that demands your whole being.
— Rumi

How It Works

  1. Muscle Testing: As with Applied Kinesiology, the practitioner uses manual muscle testing to locate blocks in brain-body communication pathways.

  2. Identification of Blocks: Specific testing protocols identify where the integration between brain hemispheres or between different brain centers (e.g., limbic system, prefrontal cortex) is impaired.

  3. Neural Repatterning:

    • Acupressure points and subtle energy work are used to reset the brain’s response.

    • Cross-crawl movements and other integrative techniques may be included to support left-right hemisphere communication.

    • Some protocols also involve holding points associated with emotional memory release.

The Crossinology® Brain Integration Technique—a natural, drug-free alternative proven to resolve learning difficulties. This cutting-edge, non-invasive technique offers you, or a loved one, a soothing and relaxing experience that relieves stress while delivering a permanent change in your performance.

— Susan McCrossin, Founder

Core Concept:
Integration vs Compensation

BIT practitioners believe that when the brain is not well-integrated, the body compensates — leading to inefficient patterns of thinking, reacting, or learning. After BIT work, the brain can access its full potential without the stress-based compensations that limit performance.

Benefits Reported by Clients

Sharper memory and focus

Faster and easier reading/comprehension

Reduced emotional reactivity

Relief from test anxiety or performance stress

Better coordination and balance

Feeling “like myself again” after trauma or cognitive fog

What Makes It Different from Other Kinesiology Systems

It’s systematic and protocol-driven, with a repeatable process based on years of research.

Specifically targets neuro-electrical switching, emotional overlays, and functional disconnects in the brain.

It’s often done in a series of sessions (typically 8–12), especially for long-standing issues like dyslexia or trauma responses.

Limitations

Like other energy-based systems, Crossinology BIT has limited empirical research in peer-reviewed journals (though practitioners report consistent real-world success).

It requires extensive, specialized training, so not all kinesiologists offer this.

about Cadie

I am a Certified Rolfer®, a Practitioner of Visceral and Neural Manipulation, and a Practitioner of Crossinology® Brain Integration Technique.

My mission is to help clients feel better in their minds, bodies, increase body (sensory) awareness, and experience better ease of movement, posture, and alignment. I learn something new from each client I encounter, which deepens my curiosity for the human body, the human experience, and how we all experience and adapt to life in different ways. I believe that what affects the mind affects the body and vice versa; that our life experiences shape us physically, mentally, and spiritually.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my dogs Emmie, Luke and Hector, a Mountain Cur, a Belgian Malinois and a Rhodesian Ridgeback.

Treatment environment:

BIT takes place in a relaxing room, where the client lies comfortably on a treatment table fully clothed. The practitioner will use muscle testing to identify any parts of the brain or body that are compromised. The practitioner will touch acupressure points on the body and touch the head gently to produce electrical changes in the brain and body.

Before your first appointment:

You will be asked to fill out a confidential medical history form and a client checklist which allows the practitioner to assess your needs. Please submit your forms prior to your appointment. Drinking plenty of water prior to your appointment is recommended.

Your first appointment and assessment

In the first session, you will be assessed to gauge the approximate length of treatment, any overgrowth of candida albicans (yeast overgrowth), and any other pertinent information. If you have an overgrowth of candida, you will be encouraged to change your diet. The practitioner may start the treatment in the first session after the assessment if time permits.

General BIT guidelines

Do not drink alcohol or any other mind-altering substances before your treatments.

Do not come hungry. Treatments may last several hours, so bring snacks for long sessions.

Drink plenty of water before, during, and after the treatments.

Small children may play with non-electrical toys, be read to, or listen to music (no iPods or MP3 players are allowed to touch the body during treatment).
